The art of debate

Published in: Our Life @ 11:58 am

It’s a challenging task to read the newspapers in the morning. When opposing views are quoted from some political players, you start to question their sanity. Or, being more indulgent, their debating skills.

Take this example.
A fact: our farmers have to sell their grain to the Canadian Wheat Board. (Good or …

Is email destroying the history?

If all our correspondence and communication happens in the cyber space - what will be in the “paper archives” for the historians of the coming centuries? Interesting question.

The ideology of health care

Published in: Our Life @ 11:38 pm

When I watch the debate about the “universal” versus private health care I get goose bump. Elections season

Published in: Weekly Buzz @ 3:30 pm

The good news: parties and candidates are not likely to go door to door. Who the heck would stand in the door at minus 20 and chat with a wannabe MP?
The bad news: they will probably focus on phone soliciting, so say good bye to the quiet evening hours spent with your family.

Source iknownil: He is right. The students are in debt for many years, the government workers are overpaid and they rarely are up to their tasks, the taxes are high. Very high. I even wanted to comment on his blog but I never do that if the stupid “you must be logged in to comment” is in effect. No wonder nobody is commenting on that blog. People don’t like registering just to post a short comment…
